Find out more about the British Riding Club Horse Trials qualifier here.
27th March 2016 saw the first show of the season. With Storm Katie rearing her ugly head, the show carried out with little rain and plenty of entries.
The show was proud host to the Veteran Horse Society Direct Qualifier. Horses and Ponies over the age of 15 years battled it out to get qualifications for the Supreme Championships in Bury Farm in September 2016.
Direct Qualifiers are usually given to large shows such as Royal Norfolk, but this year due to to the early timing of our show, we were also allowed to hold a Direct qualifier.
Well done to all competitors who joined us from 3 years old and upwards, who made it such a HUGE success. See you for our next show in the 24th April!
The 2016 Gate Riding Club Season will soon be here…the committee will be looking for a team(s) to support to represent us at the British Riding Club Senior Hickstead.
If you’re interested in joining the Team please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org

The Pony Club is holding UKCC Level 3 Assessment Day, at Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex, Onley Grounds Farm, Willoughby, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV23 8AJ on Monday 13th July, and we need demo riders!
The training is free, on the huge outdoor surface at Onley Grounds. In the morning (9am – noon) there will be sessions on flatwork with some jumping, in groups of three for 45 minutes. Riders and horses need to be at Pony Club Novice level (jumping 90cm), though there will be groups jumping higher (we have a rider who completed Burghley last year being a demo rider for us!).
UKCC Level 3 candidate coaches are high level, experienced, and qualified coaches whom are furthering their career and qualifications. Many of our candidates are currently training their own Branch teams up to Open level and coaching Members for Pony Club Tests up to A Test.
